OLYMPUS RISOPRINT: This print was part of Folklore, a risograph exhibition celebrating the worlds of skate, graffiti, music and tattoo. Curated by Magnus Mudrack and Damn Fine Print.
"My piece 'Olympus' is inspired by ancient Greek illustration - this piece, in particular, was inspired by illustration seen on an archaic Panathenaic amphora depicting men in a race which is now situated in Metropolitan Museum of Art. I wanted to capture the ancient Greek style but also express movement and playfulness with loose mark making, meshing together an ancient culture with a more modern one: Skateboarding."
